Chris Sheppard is a small business owner and former officer in the United States Marine Corps. During his military career, he held several leadership roles, including Operations Officer for Recruiting Station Houston and Series Commander at Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island, where he oversaw large teams and helped train and mentor thousands of recruits. Earlier in his service, he worked as a budget analyst supporting fiscal planning and operational programs. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Texas A&M University and a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Concordia University Portland.

Chris brings a practical perspective to the board, with a particular interest in long-term planning and the stewardship of the school’s physical environment. He values the Montessori approach for its emphasis on independence, responsibility, and helping young people develop confidence and leadership skills.

Chris lives in Round Rock with his wife, their three boys, and three huskies. In his spare time, he enjoys soccer, board games, and is an avid reader.
